Kathmandu, Sept 21: Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara left for Kazakhstan on Saturday to take part in a session of the Speakers from Eurasian nations, leading a six-member delegation.
The fourth meeting of Speakers from the Eurasian countries is scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan from September 22 to September 25.
House of Representatives' members Man Bahadur Bishwakarma, Radha Gyawali and Amrit Devi Agrahari, Federal Parliament Secretariat chief comptroller Basanta Raj Sigdel and Speakers' private secretary Dor Bahadur Pun are in the delegation. Nepali consul general for Kazakhstan Barun Chaudhary and HoR member Binod Chaudhary will also participate in the meeting to take place in Astana. The Speaker will address the session on behalf of Nepal, according to his press coordinator Dilli Malla.
