Kawasoti, Sept 24 : Six persons died and more than 20 people were injured in separate road accidents that took place at three different places of Nawalparasi district along east-west highway. 

   
Five persons died and 15 others were injured when a car (Ba 41 Cha 6409) and a truck (Lu 1 Kha 8532) collided with each other at Kharkatta jungle of Kawasoti municipality on Monday night, said Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Rajendra Adhikari.   

 
The deceased have been identified as Purna Bahadur BK of Devchuli municipality-1, Dil Bahadur Dhenga Magar of Devchuli-5, Dipesh Rana and Hira Rana of Devchuli municipality-10 and Suraj Rana Magar of Dhangadhi-11 of Kailali district. 

  
All the five deceased were travelling in the car.  

  
Similarly, a person died and 15 others were injured when a bus (Na 7 Kha 8642) heading towards Kathmandu from Dang overturned at Madhyabindu municipality-10 on Monday night.   

 
The deceased has been identified as Laxman Timilsina, 35, of Makawanpur. He was the bus driver.

The injured are undergoing treatment at different hospitals of Nawalparasi.    
Likewise, seven people were injured when a bus (Na 4 Kha 9510) overturned at Chormara this morning.  (RSS)
