By Chitra Mijar, Sindhupalchowk, July 9: Two persons who were seriously injured due to flood and landslide in Jambu, Barhabise Municipality-5, have been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Madhav Kafle of the District Police Office, said that two flood victims who were seriously injured were airlifted to to HAMS Hospital, Kathmandu.
Also, those who have gone missing due to the flooding and landslip have been identified, said DSP Kafle.
Bhim Bahadur Waiba, Chinimaya Waiba, Nimadolma, Laxman, Sunmaya and Janak Waiba, Sabina Tamang, Himesh Sharma, Aakash Tamang, Aakash KC, Tok Bahadur Tamang, Yukta Bahadur, Subesh, Sarita Tamang of Barhabise Municipality-5 and Nima Dorje Tamang, Manju, Pasang Norbu and Sahil Tamang of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality have gone missing.
The others who have gone missing are yet to be identified.
DSP Kafle said that the two deceased had been identified as Nikesh Basnet of Barhabise Municipality-5 and his three-year old daughter.
The Nepali Army, Armed Police Force and other police officials have been deployed to search and rescue the missing flood victims.
