By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Jan. 27: A single bench of Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla has adjourned hearing on newly elected House of Representatives (HoR) Speaker, Agni Prasad Sapkota, today.
The hearing will continue tomorrow.
Senior Advocate Dinesh Tripathi had filed a writ petition in Supreme Court (SC) on January 24 against nomination of Agni Sapkota for the position of HoR Speaker demanding halt of election for the position.
HoR had unanimously elected Sapkota as the Speaker for HoR on January 26.
