Kathmandu, Nov. 3: Hearing on habeas corpus cases has started in the Supreme Court today. The hearing is taking place in nine benches.
In a week, the hearing on the habeas corpus case had taken place on Monday. But on Tuesday, haring even on the detainee case was not possible.
Chief Justice Cholendra Shumser JB Rana had scheduled benches to hear the habeas corpus cases. Six of them are division and two are single, according to SC Spokesperson Baburam Dahal.
It may be noted that judges at the SC had refused to join the hearing session since Monday afternoon putting forth various demands
The hearing had remained completely affected since October 25. The disruption in the hearing procedures has affected service seekers who arrived from far-flung parts of the country.
