Kathmandu, Dec. 11: President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun Wednesday congratulated the national players who bagged medals in the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) that concluded here on Tuesday.
President Bhandari tweeted to congratulate the medal winning players. She also appreciated the National Sports Council, coaches, referees and other stakeholders for the successful organisation of the competition. "The competition has further strengthened the cordial relations among the South Asian countries and people," she said.
Similarly, VP Pun issued a statement to express his happiness on the grand and successful organisation of the 13th edition of the regional sports competition.
He congratulated all the winners.
"I would like to appreciate the government, Ministry of Youth and Sports, NSC, security agencies, staff, sports officials and concerned agencies for the historical organisation of the competition," said VP Pun.
