Kathmandu, Jan. 21: Top leaders of the ruling parties Thursday held a discussion on the country`s latest political development and the government’s activities.
Prime Minister and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba’s chief personal secretary Bhanu Deuba informed that Deuba, CPN-Maoist Centre chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and CPN (United Socialist) chair Madhav Kumar Nepal held the discussion at the Prime Minister`s official residence in Baluwatar this evening.
They dwelt on local level election, obstruction to the parliament and other contemporary issues.
The leaders agreed to hold a meeting of the ruling parties on Friday to develop a common idea about elections.
