By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 9: Top leaders of the ruling coalition parties have held a discussion at the private residence of Janata Samajwadi Party's Chairman Upendra Yadav in Hattiban of Lalitpur Thursday morning.
Press Coordinator of the JSP Chairman Yadav, Mahesh Chaurasiya informed The TRN Online that the chairman of the CPN-Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda, Chairman of CPN Unified Socialist (US) Madhav Kumar Nepal and Chairman of JSP Upendra Yadav discussed the MCC project-related issues.
Chaurasiya said that that the top leaders of the three parties of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) had a discussion to form a common position or to table a consensus on the issue after the MCC representatives arrived in Nepal today morning. Although there is no dispute in Congress over the MCC, no agreement has been reached among the other parties in the ruling coalition.
Similarly, the cabinet is yet to get its full shape though it's been about two months since the formation of the government led by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
"Top leaders have also discussed the issue of completing the cabinet expansion as soon as possible," said Chaurasia.
It has been said that two issues were discussed in the discussion which started at 9 AM and lasted after two hours.
