By Gokul Parajuli, Biratnagar, Nov. 1: Province 1 chief Somnath Adhikari 'Pyasi' has approved the resignation of the chief minister Bhim Prasad Acharya.
Acharya, who was appointed as Chief Minister on August 26, had announced his resignation in the provincial assembly today as there was no possibility of getting a vote of confidence from the assembly.
Accepting the resignation of the Chief Minister of province 1, Acharya, province chief Pyasi has called parties to claim for the formation of a new government by 1 pm on Tuesday.
According to Bimal Poudel, information officer at the province chief's office, the province chief called for the formation of a new government as soon as he accepted Acharya's resignation.
