Kathmandu, Jan. 20: The release date of the movie Ma Yesto Geet Gauchhu-2 has been postponed. The film was scheduled to be released on February 2.
Sudarshan Thapa, producer and director of the film, issued a statement Wednesday stating that the screening of the film was postponed. The decision came at a time when the government has requested the public to remain indoors unless for urgent reasons. Similarly, cinema halls have also remained shut with growing COVID-19 cases.
Starring Paul Shah and Pooja Sharma, the movie was lined for a pre-pandemic release. Its release was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic earlier as well. Earlier, it was to be released on March 13, 2020.
“The new release date for the film will be announced with the same enthusiasm and eagerness after the situation returns to normalcy,” said Thapa.
