By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr. 9: Considering the possibility of a surge in COVID-19 cases, the Ministry of Health and Population has recommended the COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee (CCMC) to prevent the gathering of more than 25 people.
Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson at the MoHP informed that recommendation was made to limit the number of students to 25 in classrooms as well.
However, the decision over the recommendation is yet to be made by CCMC.
Dr. Gautam said, "We have not recommended shutting the schools yet. However, if the public health protocols issued by the government aren’t followed duly, we will be compelled to close the educational institutions."
