Kimathanka, Nov. 9: Chief Minister of Province no 1, Rajendra Kumar Rai has said that an RCC bridge would be constructed over the Arun River, linking Bhojpur and Sankhuwasabha districts.
Talking to journalists at Tumlingtar of Sankhuwasabha today, Rai said the provincial government is committed to constructing a bridge over the Arun River at Lamsuwaghat, connecting Khadananda municipality of Bhojpur district and Khandbari municipality of Sankhuwasabha district. He said the bridge would be constructed during his term in office.
Stating that the people of Bhojpur were facing a great deal of inconvenience due to the lack of a bridge at Lamsuwaghat, Chief Minister Rai said it is regrettable that the bridge is not constructed till date although the federal government had laid its foundation 10 years ago.
He also expressed his commitment to complete the good works initiated by the preceding government.
