By Aasha Shah, Kathmandu, Apr. 29: The Public Accounts Committee of the Federal Parliament has directed the Nepali Army to halt the tender procedure of the second package of the construction of fast-track.
Issuing a letter on Wednesday, the committee directed NA to stop the procedure of providing a contract for construction.
As per the press statement released by Roj Nath Pandey, secretary of the Committee, the committee had sent letters to the Ministry of Defence on April 19 and 22 to halt the contract procedure for the construction of tunnel and bridge of the fast-track.
Ignoring the letter call for bid was made on April 25.
