By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Mar 23: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Lekhraj Bhatta has directed the producers, distributors and suppliers of medicines and surgical equipment to continue their production and supply in the market.
Holding a separate meeting with medicine producers, distributors and suppliers today at the ministry, Minister Bhatta said that the medicines should be produced and supplied without any disturbance even during the threat of Covid-19.
Minister Bhatta asked them to ensure regular supply of medicines by arranging necessary safety measures and other facilities for their workers.
He said that the concerned stakeholders should adopt standard health and safety measures while mobilising the workers.
During the meeting, the medicine producers and suppliers expressed their commitment to continue the production and supply of medicines by adopting safety measures for their workers.
