Scotland, Nov 1 : Leading a high-level Nepali delegation to the World Leaders' Summit of the 26th Conference of Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to be held in Glasgow on November 1 and 2, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has arrived in Scotland on Sunday evening .
As per the local time, Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to attend the inaugural session of the conference on Monday afternoon and then address the conclave.
Likewise, he will also meet with distinguished leaders on the sidelines of the formal events. In course of his meeting, PM Deuba is set to have bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
On the same day, he is scheduled to call on Sri Lankan President as well as meet the officials of the World Bank and IMF on the sidelines of the conference.
Prime Minister Deuba who reached London on Friday evening in course of attending the global conference held meetings with the office-bearers of different organizations during his stay there on Saturday and Sunday.
PM Deuba arrived in Glasgow via Edinburg of Scotland from London on Sunday evening. The COP-26 that kicked off in Glasgow on October 31 is concluding on November 12.
