By Bishnu Prasad Pokharel, Damak, Feb. 28: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is visiting Jharka of Kamal Rural Municipality-7, which falls at Jhapa constituency no. 5, to lay the foundation stone of China-Nepal Industrial Park.
The security of the area has been tightened since Sunday morning. The place to lay the foundation stone for the park has been formed at the bank of Ratuwa stream near a bridge connecting Damak and Kamal Rural Municipalities.
According to Hom Bahadur Thapa, a member of the Prime Minister's personal secretariat, Prime Minister Oli would be participating in altogether six programmes in Kamal and Damak Rural Municipality.
"He will also be laying the foundation stone of 31 concrete bridges from Madan Bhandari Marg to Dharan via Bahundagi of Jhapa which falls under the Madan Bhandari Highway Project," said Thapa,
Likewise, Prime Minister Oli will also be inaugurating three bridges constructed over Mawa and Ratuwa stream in Damak.
Govinda Thapa, Chairman of the industrial park, said, "The local levels have assured that around 50,000 locals would be participating in the programme where the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the park."
