By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May. 19: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has appealed to everyone to vote for CPN-UML's candidate Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' in the upcoming by-election being held for the vacant position of National Assembly member representing Bagmati Province.
"Ram Bahadur Thapa from our party has lodged candidacy representing our party in the by-election being held on May 20. He is one of the senior leaders who had led the nation's communist movement. His win would aid in ensuring the sentimental unity of the communist movement. Thus, I appeal to everyone to unite and ensure the win of our party's candidate in the election," read the appeal issued by Prime Minister Oli on Wednesday.
Likewise, Prime Minister Oli also called his party members to vote for the CPN-UML representative in the by-election for NA member from Lumbini Province being held on May 31.
Prior to this, General Secretary of the party Ishwar Pokharel had also directed the local representatives to vote for candidates representing CPN-UML.
