Kathmandu, March 28: Prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to visit India on April 1 at the invitation of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by his spouse Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Narayan Khadka, other senior Ministers, Secretaries and officials. The visit will further strengthen the multifaceted, age-old, and cordial ties between Nepal and India.
During the visit, Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to pay a courtesy call to Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu.
Issuing a press release on Monday MoFA said that Prime Minister Deuba will hold delegation-level talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House, on April 2. Indian PM Modi will host a Luncheon in honour of PM Deuba and the delegation.
Similarly, the External Affairs Minister and the National Security Advisor of India will call on PM Deuba. Deuba will use the opportunity of his visit to address a gathering of business leaders in New Delhi.
He is also scheduled to visit Varanasi before returning to Kathmandu on April 3.
