Glasgow, Nov. 2: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has held talks and meetings with world leaders from different countries on the sideline of the World Leaders' Summit of the 26th Conference of Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) being held in Glasgow city of Scotland, the UK.
Prime Minister Deuba had addressed the Conference on Monday along with heads of government and the state of different countries.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Deuba held a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi today.
It is his maiden foreign trip after PM Deuba assumed the office of the Prime Minister for the fifth time a few months back. It is reported that PM Deuba is holding a meeting with the President of Sri Lanka Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Similarly, the US secretary of state, high officials of the World Bank, and IMO are also holding meetings with PM Deuba.
