Kathmandu, Dec 18 (RSS):
President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday appointed residential ambassadors of three countries and a resident representative of the United Nations as non-residential ambassadors to various countries.
Nepal's Ambassador to Malaysia Uday Raj Pande has been named non-residential Ambassador to Brunei while Thailand's Ambassador Ganesh Prasad Dhakal to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, and UN Resident Representative Amrit Bahadur Rai to Ecuador and Canada's Ambassador Bhrigu Dhungana to Cuba, according to a statement issued by Assistant Spokesperson at President Office, Keshab Prasad Ghimire.
The appointments were made on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers in line with the Article 282 (1) of the constitution.
