Kathmandu, Dec 26 : President Bidya Devi Bhandari has urged all to collectively carry out their efforts to create an environment conducive to pass on knowledge, skills and experiences collected by senior citizens to the new generation.
In a message of greetings on the First National Senior Citizen's Day-2078, the President stressed the need for effectively implementing facilities and allowances given to the senior citizens.
She also urged all to honour the senior citizens and make their life easy through effective implementation of laws and policies related to them. May this Day inspire all to honour, respect and protect senior citizens, she said in the message of best wishes.
