Kathmandu, Jan. 30: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has paid tributes to all the known and unknown martyrs of the country on the occasion of Martyr’s Day.
Honouring the brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the country and their fellow countrymen, she hoped that the day would encourage the political parties and the general public to dedicate themselves towards fulfilling the dreams of the martyrs who gave their lives for the good of Nepali people.
Issuing a message on the occasion, President Bhandari also said that martyrs would truly be respected if everyone worked to bring lasting peace, good governance and prosperity in the country through the federal democratic republican system.
