Naypyidaw, Oct 16: President Bidya Devi Bhandari arrived here on Wednesday evening.
She is in Myanmar visit at the invitation of Myanmar President U Win Myint.
The Minister for International Assistance, the Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture and the Mayor of Naypyidaw welcomed President Bhandari upon her arrival.
Nepal's Ambassador to Myanmar, Shreekrishna Udas, also welcomed President Bhandari.
Bhandari is accompanied by Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Foreign Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi, Secretary at President's Office Dr Hari Poudel, and President's personal secretary Dr. Bhesharaj Adhikari, among others.
She is on a state visit to Myanmar from October 16 to 20.
President Bhandari and her Myanmar counterpart Myint are scheduled to hold a meeting at the Presidential House on Thursday morning.
State Councilor of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi will also hold meeting with President Bhandari on Thursday.
