Kathmandu, Feb. 26: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to arrive in Sudurpaschim State today for the three-day visit. She is attending various functions in five districts including Baitadi in the State during her stay.
She is inaugurating the World Nepal Literature Festival at Dhangadhi, Kailali this noon and inspecting a drinking water project a 2:00pm. Similarly, the Head of the State will conduct special puja at Tripurasundari Bhagawati Temple of Baitadi on Thursday.
President's civic felicitation is organized at Dasharath municipality, according to Chief District Officer of Baitadi, Anand Poudel. On Thursday itself, the President is inaugurating the Bhimdutta Polytechnic Institute of Patan and a hostel, he added.
On the third day of her visit, the Head of the State visits the Ugratara Temple of Dadeldhura and attend the Shuklaphanta Festival to be organized at Kanchanapur, according to the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Minister at State.
Meanwhile, Patan municipality of Baitadi has announced public holiday on Thursday on the President's visit.
