By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 21: Enumerators deployed for the population census of areas such as Kalapani, Nabhi and Kuti are reaching Chhangru tomorrow.

The district population census office of Darchula has deputed two enumerators along with its representatives for recording the number of people in villages of Byas Rural Municipality-1 including Chhangru in Darchula district. The team had left for Chhangru on Friday from Darchula district headquarters.

Padam Raj Pandey, Darchula district population census officer, informed that the team stayed at Dumling on Saturday and today morning they reached at a hilltop called Thin where they were able to make a phone call. The team informed Pandey that they would reach Chhangru, the place under Nepal's administrative control, tomorrow, Monday.

He said that the team had expected a helicopter on the way back as they would be too tired after completing their task owing to the difficult trail to reach the site, where one needs to walk on a steep slope clutching grass and bushes.

"They can reach the location someway, but it would be easy for them to return because by then they will be too tired for the trail is quite difficult to walk," Pandey said.

There are four more days for the completion of the national population census which started from November 11.
