By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 3: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's chief advisor Bishnu Rimal, press advisor Surya Thapa, foreign affairs advisor Dr. Rajan Bhattarai and personal secretary Indra Bhandari have tested positive for COVID-19.
Their swab samples were collected on Friday.
"I have tested positive for COVID-19. I request everyone who had come in direct contact with me to take care of their health," tweeted chief advisor Rimal today.
Likewise, press advisor Thapa and foreign affairs advisor Bhattarai, through their official social media accounts requested everyone in their contact to stay alert as they had been infected with the novel coronavirus.
Ram Sharan Bajgain, media expert to the PM, said that four members of the PM's secretariat including personal secretary Bhandari were found to be COVID-19 positive. RT-PCR test report of Bajgain is awaited.
