By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 3: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has tested negative for COVID in the report of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.
Four members of the Prime Minister's secretariat were found infected with the novel coronavirus in the PCR report today.
Prime Minister Oli's swab was collected on Wednesday for PCR test and the report was received on Thursday, according to Ram Sharan Bajgain, media expert to PM Oli.
With the confirmation of infection in four members of the PM's secretariat, health safety and security precaution for the PM has been stepped up, said Bajgain.
Swabs of the PM's secretariat members were collected after some security personnel deputed for the PM's security were found infected with the deadly virus.
