Kathmandu, April 4: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Bahrain to express concern about the state of Nepalis there.
A large number of Nepalis, especially migrant workers, are working in Bahrain.
"As part of my conversation with the Heads of Government of countries having a large number of Nepali migrant workers in the context of Covid-19, I had today telephone conversation with HRH the Prime Minister of Bahrain, the Prime Minister tweeted.
Prime Minister Oli said while expressing concern over the safety of Nepalis in Bahrain during this difficult period, he also thanked the Government of Bahrain for the cooperation extended to them.
The Prime Minister said he will continue similar conversation with other Heads of Government.
