Kathmandu, Oct 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has instructed the concerned ministers, secretaries and chief of national pride projects to finish the construction of such projects before the deadline.
Taking stock of various seven projects at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Wednesday, PM Oli directed the concerned authorities for the timely completion of the projects such as Pokhara Sub-Regional International Airport, Gautam Buddha International Airport, the Postal Highway.
Similarly, PM Oli inquired about Sikta Irrigation Project, Babai Bheri Multipurpose Project, Upper Tamakoshi Hydro Power Project and Rani Jamara Irrigation Project that were being undertaken by Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
The Prime Minister also held discussions with Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Barshaman Pun; Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai and Minister for Finance Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada.
Oli further directed the concerned authorities to take into account the quality of the construction for such projects, according to Minister Pun.
On the occasion, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers presented the progress of first three-months of the current fiscal year.
