Chitwan, Nov 26: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has arrived in Chitwan in connection with addressing the 10th National Congress of the CPN (UML).
The Prime Minister, who is also the central President of the major ruling party Nepali Congress (NC), arrived here on a helicopter.
Chitwan’s Chief District Officer Asman Tamang confirmed that the Prime Minister landed at the Junior Police Officers Training College at Bharatpur at 12: 45 pm. The Prime Minister is scheduled to return today itself after addressing the inaugural session of the UML’s 10th national gathering on the bank of the Narayani River.
Heads and representatives from other political parties have also been here to address the mega event. Likewise, political guests from various countries have arrived here in course of attending the gathering.
According to the party source, it has received a video message from the Chinese Communist Party of Nepal and the other political parties from several countries have extended best wishes message to it on the occasion of its 10th National Congress.
