Hetauda, Feb 12: Rameshwor Phuyal has been appointed the physical infrastructure development minister for the Bagmati state government.
As said by the State Office of Chief Minister, Phuyal from Kathmandu was appointed on the post by Chief Minister Dormani Poudel Tuesday and he will be taking oath today.
Prior to this, State Assembly member Phuyal was the member in the Constituent Assembly. He has a long political career and has been appointed on the ministerial post first time. The post had been
lying vacant with the removal of the then minister Keshab Sthapit from the post. Since then, Chief Minister had been taking charge of the ministry.
Phuyal is presently the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chief whip for the Bagmati state. He had the experiences of serving as the village development committee chair and district development
committee vice-president as well.
