Kathmandu, Mar. 25: Petroleum Dealers' National Association of Nepal has called for providing petroleum products only for very essential purposes.
Association's president Lilendra Prasad Pradhan said the petrol pumps have been urged to supply petroleum products only for very essential purposes as per the government's request.
According to him, the pump proprietors within Kathmandu Valley have also been asked to put up notice with this message outside their petrol stations.
"We have issued instructions to the petrol pumps to put up notice outside the gasoline stations and provide fuel only to the vehicles carrying essntials, the ambulances and the vehicles issued permits by the government," Pradhan said.
He said the vehicles used for very essential services can fill up at any petrol station in the Kathmandu Valley and the petrol pumps have sufficient amount of petrol in stock.
