Kathmandu, Feb. 22: The Institute of Cultural Studies has started bringing the old popular songs, which were scattered across the country and are at the risk of disappearing.
Singer Sunita Timelsina is also bringing those old folk songs to audience.
According to Timelsina, singer and the member of the institute, more than half a dozen songs are being prepared for their release.
The songs including Jor Kalash, Gai Lai Ghas, Sannani, Mansir Maas and other are being recording in the voice of singers Sunita Timlsina, Bhanu Oli and Jhuma Niraula.
Rochak Thapa has collected the old songs that are on the verge of extinction from different parts of the country.
