Kathmandu, Oct 20: The meeting of the International Coordination Council of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) decided to contribute Rs. 1.6 million to the Migrant Workers' Welfare Fund (MWWF).
Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the NRNA expressed its commitment to provide support to the victim of foreign employment through this contribution.
There are estimated four million Nepali migrant workers scattered in various labour destinations across the world.
NRNA's newly elected President Kumar Panta presented the proposal to this end. The meeting also decided to form various committees for promotion of the Visit Nepal 2020 and to attract foreign investment among others.
