Bhaktapur, Sept 27: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, Ishwor Pokhrel, said that none of the bodies could use the property registered in the name of Nepal Trust on any pretext.
Deputy Prime Minister Pokhrel said so while monitoring the land of Nepal Trust located at Sallaghari of Bhaktapur on Friday.
Also the Chairperson of Nepal Trust Board Members Committee, Pokharel said, "No one can do anything with the property registered in the name of Nepal Trust without the decision of cabinet."
Saying the Trust itself would protect land registered in its name, he said that the Trust has started to protect its property across the nation including Pokhara, Hetauda, Bharatpur, Surkhet and Dhangadhi.
A decision would be taken by making common concept from the discussion among locals, concerned municipalities, state government and people's representatives over the issue of property located at Kathmandu Valley.
Member Secretary of the Nepal Trust Board Members Committee, Rajeshwor Gyawali, said that there is 27,000 ropanis of land in the name of Nepal Trust in 16 districts.
