Kathmandu, July 13: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index on Tuesday gained 16.34 points and closed at 2,871.03 points. According to Nepse, the sensitive index of big companies increased by 4.74 points and reached 539.51 points.
Likewise, a total of 12.3 million and 48,389 units of share of 223 companies were traded at Rs 5.54 billion and 6.3 million.
With the trading on Tuesday, the market capitalisation of the country reached more than 3993.75 billion.
All 13 sub-categories except of life insurance companies posted positive growth in prices. Nepse said that the share price of life insurance companies decreased 66.19 points.
Based on the trading volume, Nepal Bangladesh Bank (NBB) remained in the top with the trading of Rs 454.7 million.
According to Nepse, the investors of Central Finance, Samriddhi Finance Manjushree Finance, Progressive Finance and ICFC Finance made good profits compared to other companies.
