Bhadrapur, Dec 3 : Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai has opined for meeting International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standard by our whole civil aviation mechanism in upcoming 10 years.
In an interaction organized to discuss on the master plan for upgrading and extending Bhadrapur Airport, he shared that the government was working on upgrading and extending the airports across the country to meet the ICAO standards and the objectives would be fulfilled by 10 years.
The Civil Aviation Minister said the Bhadrapur Airport would be upgraded as per the advanced master plan. Land acquisition process for upgrading the airport was underway as additional 100 bighas of lands were required, he said.
Minister Bhattarai further urged all to cooperate for the same.
Similarly, speaking in the same programme, Civil Aviation Authority general manager Rajan Pokharel opined for constructing the new terminal building.
