By Lucky Chaudhary, Kathmandu, Mar. 5: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that Nepal has now entered a peaceful era.
Along with the three-point agreement with the Biplav-led Nepal Communist Party, violent conflict has formally ended, said the Prime Minister.
Stating that Nepal and Nepali desired peace, Prime Minister Oli, addressing a special ceremony held to sign the 3-point agreement between the government and the Biplav-led NCP, said, “A peaceful environment is essential to establish ‘Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepalis’. Leader Chand has taken over a historic responsibility by entering into an agreement. The government and the NCP are thankful to him,”
“This is not crash landing, this is a safe landing instead,” said the Prime Minister, adding, “We didn’t enter into agreement overnight. This is a result achieved after a long time.” He said that a decade had passed since he had been holding discussions with the Biplav Group.
Clarifying that the issues which might arise in the future while implementing the agreement would be solved via discussions, Prime Minister Oli said, “This agreement has made Nepal enter a new era.”
As the nation has entered into a new era of peace, it is not impossible to establish a prosperous Nepal.
