Kathmandu, Dec 25: Newly-elected central President, office-bearer and members of the Nepali Congress (NC) received certificates on being elected in the 14th general convention of the party.
Party President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba along with other office bearers and members were provided with certificates at a programme organized at the party central office, Sanepa, today.
NC's central election committee coordinator and senior advocate Gopal Krishna Ghimire handed over the certificates to the elected party office bearers and members.
With the distribution of the certificates, the party's 14th general convention has officially come to a conclusion.
Nepali Congress is so far the largest democratic political party of Nepal which had spearheaded several epochal political changes in the Himalayan country.
NC's first central committee meeting after the 14th general convention is taking place immediately following the distribution of certificates to the newly-elected central office bearers and members.
