By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 28: The Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) held today under the chairmanship of party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has decided to entrust Chairman Prachanda with responsibility to discuss with the other Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to resume the next meeting of the SC.
The SC meeting held at Baluwatar, the Prime Minister's official residence, took the decision considering party unity, methods and tradition at this critical situation.
Today's meeting has also urged the party's rank and file to contribute from their respective roles to resolve present crisis in a positive way by safeguarding party unity, system and rules.
According to NCP spokesperson, Naryankaji Shrestha, date and time of today's meeting was fixed by the previous SC meeting and there were 29 Standing Committee members present in today's meeting while two invited SC members also attended the meeting.
