By Lucky Chaudhary, Kathmandu, Aug, 17: The meeting of Secretariat of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has approved the six-member task force formed by the NCP Chairmen, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.
Narayankaji Shrestha, NCP spokesperson said that positive discussions were held in the meeting regarding the task force. The responsibility of recommending the efforts that the government should take has also been given to the task-force, he added.
Shrestha said that the task force would present a report shortly.
Stating that following all the procedures while forming a panel to solve the intra-party feud would be uncomplicated, spokesperson Shrestha said that even better message would be released if the task force was formed by the Secretariat.
"The task force will do its homework on resolving the intra-party differences, maintaining the party unity and conducting the General Convention and thereby present a report," said Shrestha.
He added that he was hopeful that the differences within the party would be sorted out within a few days.
The task force was formed on Friday. Bishnu Prasad Poudel is the coordinator of the task force and Shankar Pokharel, Bhim Bahadur Rawal, Surendra Pandey, Janardan Sharma 'Pravakar' and Pampha Bhusal are the members.
