By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 17: A meeting between the Chairmen of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has kicked off at the PM's residence, Baluwatar.
Chairman Prachanda reached Baluwatar to discuss about the meeting of the constitutional council called by the PM at 5:00 pm today. Bishnu Sapkota, press advisor to Chairman Prachanda, said that Prachanda was concerned about the meeting of the council called today despite the agreement reached on Wednesday to withhold the ordinance relating to the constitutional council issued on Tuesday.
Prachanda's secretariat informed that he would be holding discussions with the PM regarding the ordinance and the ongoing intra-party feud within the NCP.
It had been told that the Chairmen had reached to an agreement where the government would withhold the ordinance while Prachanda would revoke the letter signed by parliamentarians to call a special session of the federal parliament. However, no written confirmation as to the agreement has been made public yet.
