By Lucky Chaudhary, Kathmandu, Oct. 28: Central Committee meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been postponed for a month. The party informed that the meeting would be held a month later from November 30 to December 4.
Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, Shreeram Dhakal and Ishwari Rijal, secretaries of the central office of the NCP, informed that the central committee meeting scheduled from October 31 to November 2 had been postponed.
The NCP leaders have said that the meeting was postponed in conformity with the NCP Chairmen, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.
The press statement informs that the meeting was postponed due to the increasing threat of COVID-19 spread.
Before re-scheduling the meeting, Bishnu Poudel, general secretary of the party, had consulted with both the Chairmen separately.
