Kavrepalanchowk, Nov 4 : Nepali Congress president and former Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba met with the people injured in a bus accident occurred Sunday at Sukute of Sindhupalchowk district and took stock of their health condition.
He went to the Dhulikhel Hospital this morning and met with the accident injuyured who are receiving treatment. On the occasion, leader Deuba assured of full support on behalf his party and urged them not to be upset.
Wishing for the speedy recovery of the injured, he directed the doctors at the hospital not to compromise in their treatment. Some 40 people injured in the accident are receiving treatment at the hospital.
President Deuba was accompanied by former minister and NC leader Mohan Bahadur Basnet among the local leaders of the party.
Seventeen people died and dozens of others were injured in the bus accident occurred on the Araniko highway at Sukute on Sunday. The passenger bus (Ba 2 Kha 7245) which was going towards Kathmandu from Mude Deurali of Dolakha fell into the Sunkoshi river.
