By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 21: Senior leader of the ruling Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Paudel and Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center). a major ruling party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' held a meeting today.
Chirinjivi Adhikari, leader Paudel's personal secretary, informed that the two leaders were discussing issues pertinent to the ruling alliance and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact.
He said that leader Paudel is scheduled to hold discussions with chiefs of the other ruling partners including Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and Upendra Yadav, Chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party.
The MCC has been tabled in the parliament and the NC has been lobbying to ratify it by the parliament at the earliest. Paudel, however, has been advocating for preserving the ruling alliance.
