Kathmandu, Oct. 28: A day after party president Sher Bahadur Deuba’s instruction, the Nepali Congress Central Election Committee on Wednesday prepared a revised calendar for the general convention proposing to hold the central level convention on December 13-15.
After the Committee meeting, its coordinator Mahadev Yadav informed that the central convention would be held on December 13-15.
NC president and Prime Minister Deuba on Tuesday had instructed the Committee to prepare the calendar of the party`s 14th general convention to conclude it by mid-December.
The committee also decided to hold the remaining ward level convention by November 13.
As per the new calendar, its provincial level general convention would be held on December 2-3.
Yadav said the new calendar would be made public after the party endorses it.
