Kathmandu, Dec 11: The nomination process for the selection of a new working committee under the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress has begun. According to the party's Central Election Committee, the distribution of nomination forms has started at 10 am today.
The election process is being carried out from Bhrikutimandap and the Rashtriya Sabha Griha. So far, only candidates for central members have taken the registration form. Election Committee Coordinator Gopal Krishna Ghimire said that all preparations have been completed under the election program.
The election committee has fixed the time for nomination till 5 pm today. The final list will be published on Sunday after addressing any protest or claim against the nominations. Provision has been made for filing nominations of candidates in 20 places in the two venues.
