Kathmandu, Dec. 27: After quitting the government, Samajwadi Party (SP) Nepal top leaders met with Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba to make the opposition front stronger.
SP party chair duo Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai and Upendra Yadav reached Deuba’s residence and discussed about strengthening the opposition role and co-work in the upcoming National Assembly election.
Deuba’s personal secretary Bhanu Deuba informed on Friday that the leaders dwelt on current political development and upcoming National Assembly election.
In the meeting, Yadav told that they wanted to make the government in the parliament bow down. He also proposed to co-work with the NC in the State 2.
They also fixed strategies to obstruct the Parliament meeting on agenda of bad governance, corruption, price hike, foreign policy and Kalapani along with other border issues.
In the meeting NC vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi and SP leader Rajendra Shrestha were also present.
