By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 21: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 17 new COVID-19 positive cases, taking the national tally to 17.
15 men aged 18, 18, 19, 19, 23, 23, 23, 25, 26, 26, 28, 30, 32, 37 and 46 of Kachankawal Rural Municipalaity-3, 6 and 8, 34-year old male of Dhankuta and 51-year old female of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City tested positive for the virus in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test, informed the ministry by issuing a press statement.
The PCR tests were conducted at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan and Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Biratnagar.
Health condition of all patients is normal and they are in contact with health workers.
