Kathmandu, Sept. 11: Nepali Army Headquarters has instructed all its senior staff officers and army personnel to submit their property details by Mid-September, 2019.
According to the Directorate of Public Relations and Information (DPR&I), all the sitting officers would have to compulsorily submit their property details not delayed by Mid-September.
Chief of the Army Staff (CoAS) General Purna Chandra Thapa had made his property details public on Tuesday.
The property details should be submitted to their respective unit offices and would be made accessible within the network of Army Headquarters without hampering the privacy of one individual army personnel.
CoAS Thapa during his Tuesday’s speech said that he took the decision to make the property details of all personnel including him to maintain internal good governance and transparency.
The property details submitted by every staff can now be assessed and brought into scanner of the Army Headquarters at any time of needs and urgency, said Brigadier General and spokesperson Bigyan Dev Pandey.
